'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane dampens on Premier League return

Kane achieves his 100th goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has declared that his desire in coming back to the Premier League has faded and he is willing to negotiate a new deal with Bayern Munich.

The prolific striker is presently halfway through the four-year contract he signed when moving to from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the transfer window of 2023.

The experienced forward has scored an outstanding 103 goals in 106 appearances for the German team, helping them secure the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which represented the initial important trophy of his distinguished career.

Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has recently stated that he would be pleased to see Kane go back to England, where he requires 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring feat of 260.

However, the England skipper has now suggested that he is no longer as enthusiastic about coming back home as he once was, and would definitely think about lengthening his stay in Bavaria.

"In terms of remaining longer, I could absolutely see that," he stated.

"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those talks with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be prepared to talk and have an straightforward conversation.

"Obviously it depends on how the next year or so progresses and what we achieve together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not considering about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had inquired me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have realized in my career is that different options and different timings happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."

Record-breaking Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the all-time top scorer for both Tottenham and England and lately became the fastest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five leagues, reaching the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a trophy had avoided him until he secured the German title last season.

Kane admits that he was not sure how he would respond after overcoming his trophy wait, but now believes it has made him eager for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be natural to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.

"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've shown that this year.

"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to achieve in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
